A correct Organization record can keep brand facts consistent. Authority comes from quality, recognition, trust and external signals.
What can markup do for a brand?
One name, one @id, a stable set of sameAs links, the same address and the same founder across the site. That stops the brand from looking like several similar organisations. That is disambiguation, not authority.
What is this based on?
Structured data does not produce authority or reputation. It cannot mint E-E-A-T. It cannot replace coverage, citations, or the work Digital PR already treats as the source of trust. A Knowledge Panel, if it appears, is still not a reputation Google attributes to your JSON-LD file.
